A film that chronicles the impact of a new social enterprise.
Brief:
Tilda was sourcing 'Basmati' rice from parts of Northern India to export to global markets. But time and again it would be rejected for its pesticide residue level. As a result they conducted undertook 'PASS' or Proactive Adaptation of Sustainable Sourcing in order to transform the farming practice for a better crop. Tilda needed a video production agency in Delhi to capture a convincing account of the activity on ground, talk to farmers, project coordinators and document the initiative. We were required to capture the journey, impact and success of Project PASS.
Approach:
One of the first and fundamental things to our approach as a film production agency in Delhi is we speak with farmers off camera to help them understand what we are doing, be comfortable and understand for ourselves their ground experience. As a result, we shot over a day speaking with the farmers and filming them in action. And shot another day with project coordinators, scientists and other relevant people from Tilda. In the end, we could successfully create this documentary that helps one understand Project PASS without much complexity.
